Students began research a disease today. They have six questions that they need to be answered based on their chosen disease. Students need to have the research done by Thursday to go onto the next step.
Students researching a cancer were directed to www.cancer.org. This is the website for the American Cancer Society and is very helpful. If students choose this they should not need to visit any other site. Students can also call 1-800-ACS-2345, introduce themselves and ask the operator the questions. This is the hotline for the American Cancer Society and again is very helpful.

Students have homework on adjectives. The assignment is on page 124 of their Language Network book. We created a table in class to use on this assignment, which is due Monday.
We will begin working on final drafts of their narratives on Monday.
